Good one. Did not think about that.

But 1on1 VS a Paragon, Mesmer Wins, Seeing that the Paragon has to Attack at some point, and heal himself.

Considering the requirement to finish the game, and the statue is barred from access unless you do, putting a favor requirement on it would be a bit of a stupid idea. Quite likely, the statue takes you to the lobby town in the Realm of Torment, with that being the 'door' to get in. That stops people who haven't completed the game being ferried there.

Three new screenies from DoA, looks mmm tasty:

Edit. Ah it seems new armours will be for heroes. Hmm, wonder if they are first hero armours that'll cost something or some quests there that reward players with armour parts.

Am I the only one reading "New Method of Weapon Aquisition" as trade improvements whether it be auction house or a new green weapon merchant? If I'm right remember you heard it from me first.

I don't know if I should buy greens or sell them off to prepare hehe

At first I read "New Method of Weapon Aquisition" as a rolling system or "customized on pickup" system like seen in WoW. Maybe we'll get those changes too, but I'm really leaning towards some kind of trade improvement instead.

Customized on Pickup would sky rocket all the Items we have right now that are NOT customized, So i highly doupt that would be it.

*crosses fingers* Oh plz oh plz Auction Houses.....

It totally would not make sense, but don't our characters count as heroes too >.>

Sigh, my rit has run out of armor to buy.

Guys, in case you haven't seen it yet, Gaile has post some more information regarding this Friday's update on gwonline.

Summary.-

1. This is indeed the large update they mentioned last month. It just comes earlier than expected.

2. The new armor is indeed for heroes.

3. Razah is a Ritualist hero. So much for the "variable" if you ask me.

I wonder, though, what this means for players without Factions. You get Rt hero in Nightfall, but since you can't unlock any Rt skills, what's the point?

Good point, You should post it in the thread where Gaile made the comment:

That's kind of disappointing. I was really looking forward to seeing a variable primary character. Razah's story sounds too cool in the manual just to be a Ritualist.

I was kind of hoping this meant questing for weapons that are named after good guys or something... though with "nearly a dozen quests" there doesn't seem to be enough... I guess I can hope for trade improvements insead, but if you have to beat Nightfall to get trade improvements, that's just dumb.

I guess my only question is, if Razah is a Ritualist hero what is that going to do for Nightfall only players? Considering that there are no core skills that means there will only be 25 skills (15 buyable 10 elite) that is offered for NF only.

Razah will probably be from a pathetically easy quest (otherwise people would complain), that's only accessable to Factions owners.

Razah Was formed in the mists, FoW, UW anybody? It does not mean that it has to be in the DoA.

I'm a little sad that the armor is in fact for Hero NPCs only. But I'm happy that it means I wont be tempted to buy new armor Still.. I'm wondering what these gems are all about.. one more day..

Didn't Gaile Suggest the Devs (on a few occastions) that we should have jewlery? Such as necklaces.

Didn't Gaile Also Suggest the Whitch Hat, A Mini varesh upgrade and countless other things?

considering the limited armor options in NF, i was really hoping for this update to include a new armor set.

*sigh* but it's hero armor.... *sigh*

Not.. Happy.. Jan!
